    Overview - Nissan Sunny

    Nissan Sunny is a stylish sedan after its makeover in 2014. Initially launched in the Indian markets in 2011, this entry-level sedan’s second-generation sports royal looks. Available in eight variants, three petrol and five diesel version, the car is mechanically the same as its predecessor. This car scores top on performance, style and comfort.
    The Sunny’s diesel version carries a 1.5-litre engine, with advanced five speed manual transmission gearbox. The engine has the capacity to offer 84 bhp at 3750 rpm and a maximum torque of 200Nm at 2000rpm. The petrol version carries a 1.5-liter engine with 4-cylinders and 16 valves. The manual variants churns out power of 98bhp at 6000rpm and a torque output of 134Nm at 4000rpm. It also comes with an Xtronic CVT transmission which enables smooth, instant acceleration.
    The Nissan Sunny features electric power steering which makes its very light to handle, especially while driving on the city roads that are packed with narrow streets and road bumps. Steering the wheels become more comfortable as it comes with a tilt steering. A sedan that assures smooth rides, the premium suspension system ensures you go from 0-100 kmph in just 12.7 seconds. You can expect to drive this sedan on a top speed of 175 kmph.
    From the exterior, the appearance of Nissan Sunny is quite stylish. The premium chrome detailing along with bold design cues add the much needed enigma to this second-generation sedan. Luxurious in style and appeal, the car packs in sleek side-mirrors with in-built turn indicators. The Sunny sports boomerang-shaped headlights, fog lamp inserts and a new rear bumper that ups its style quotient further.
    This sedan offers a spacious and luxurious cabin. Perfect to seat three in the back comfortable, the Sunny offers adequate leg room and headroom without any complaints. The comfort is higher as compared to its predecessors, as the Sunny packs in advanced features, such as rear parking camera, automatic climate control AC, Bluetooth connectivity among several other convenience enhancing features. It comes with standard safety features, such as, ABS, Brake Assist, EBD and driver side airbag.
    The petrol version sedan with manual transmission has the ability to give a mileage of 16.9 Kmpl. The CVT version on the other hand promises to deliver a mileage of 17.9 Kmpl. The diesel version can deliver a fuel efficiency of 22.7 kmpl.
    The Sunny petrol variant price starts at 7.97 lacs (Ex­showroom, Mumbai) onwards while the diesel starts at 8.78 lacs onwards.
