Audi RS Q8

The upcoming Audi RS Q8 is going to be the second model of the RS line in India. This SUV is powered by a 4.0L twin turbo V8 engine producing a power of 600bhp and torque of 800Nm, the transmission would be an eight-speed automatic type and this SUV is going to be an all-wheel drive system.

Jeep India, on the third anniversary of the Jeep Compass SUV in India has announced the introduction of a global limited-edition Compass Night Eagle. The Indian automobile market will get 250 units of this SUV.

This limited-edition SUV is available in a an all Black Theme and is based on the Compass Longitude Plus and is going to be available with both Diesel and Petrol engine options. There will be distinctive features on this SUV, in comparison to its inspiration model.

Three out of the five powertrain options are available in the Jeep Compass Night Eagle. The 1.4 Litre Turbo Petrol engine offers a power of 160 bhp and torque of 250 Nm, coupled with a 7-speed DDCT transmission. The 2.0 Litre Turbo Diesel engine offers a power of 171 bhp and torque of 350 Nm, coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission or 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive. All manual transmission types come with front wheel drive, while the automatic transmissions come with AWD.

The all black body of the of the Jeep Compass Night Eagle gets black accents outside as well as inside. The grille and the window lines are black too and the patent JEEP badging is on the front and the rear. The four color options for the Jeep Compass Night Eagle are exotica red, magnesio grey, vocal while and brilliant black. The 18-inch alloy wheels are the same black. The partial leather interiors and the upholstery are completely black too. Cruise control is available with the Automatic transmission and some of the other features include; start/stop button, keyless entry, powerfolding ORVM’s, Uconnect infotainment system, ABS traction control, ESC, electronic parking brake, hill start assist, ABS and four airbags.

The Kia Sonet is all set to launch in India this August. The concept version of this SUV was unveiled in the Auto Expo 2020 and is going to be the second Kia car that is going to be made in India after the Kia Seltos. Kia Sonet is also the only other car which is available with the iMT Technology in India.

The launch has been a highly awaited one and for all the right reasons too. The Sonet is going to come with three engine options which are;
– The 1.2 Litre T-GDi Petrol Engine that would produce a power of 82hp/114Nm
– The 1.0 Litre Turbo Petrol engine will produce a power of 118 bhp
– The 1.5 Litre Diesel Engine that would produce a power of 99bhp/240 Nm.

Options between the six speed iMT or seven speed DCT as well as a 5 speed Manual transmission are going to be given in the Kia Sonet.

The production spec of the Kia Sonet reveal that the SUV is extremely similar to its concept design that was showcased at the AutoExpo 2020.

– The freestyling 10.25 inch infotainment system that is going to be integrated with the instrument cluster
– Manual AC
– Brushed aluminum inserts for the AC vents

The first time on seeing the Kia Sonet, one cannot help but notice the KIA signature Tiger nose grille in the front, the LED DRL’s, the black ORVM’s and the silver roof rails. The fog lamps and the skid pate add a little more edge to the design. The sculpted bumper is another defining feature on the Kia Sonet.

The car looks very rugged and the black theme interior of the SUV adds to its demeanor. The leather upholstery with red detailed thread work leaves a sense of definition in the spacious cabin. The test drives are yet to begin and before that the big reveal is yet to happen but we can already feel the luxury in the interiors. It is easy to say that the characteristics speak volumes and one can help but be convinced that this SUV means business. Even though this compact SUV is still to be launched, it is very evident that comfort and great style are going to be part of the whole package with the Kia Sonet.

As of right now there is no official update on the mileage that the Kia Sonet is said to offer, but once the official statement is out, we are sure that it will leave all of us very impressed.
