Mahindra Thar Discontinued AX Std and AX

Mahindra launched the second-gen Thar in October 2020 with four variants – AX Standard, AX, AX Opt and LX. The base-spec AX and AX Std variants were quite almost like the previous-gen model with jump-seats within the back for a 6-seater layout. However, the more practical, safer and better-equipped variants of the new Thar happened to be much more popular. The carmaker first stopped taking orders of the bottom variants and has now discontinued them entirely.

Upcoming launch : Toyota Fortuner Facelift

The facelifted Toyota Fortuner will continue sale in India on Epiphany , 2021. it had been first launched in Thailand in June 2020. Unofficial bookings are open at multiple dealerships across India since November for Rs 50,000.

Toyota will launch both the quality and Legender variants of the facelifted Fortuner in India. Their Thai-spec versions get an updated front , new LED headlamps, a revised housing for the LED taillights , also as a replacement front and rear bumper design.

Production reduction in Honda Civic And CR-V

In a surprise turn of events, Honda Cars India Ltd has announced that it’s stopped vehicle production at its Greater Noida plant, its first ever plant in India. The carmaker has opted to consolidate manufacturing operations at its Tapukara facility in Rajasthan with immediate effect.

The two main Honda cars produced at the Greater Noida facility, Civic and CR-V, have now been discontinued in India. As premium offerings, neither has been particularly successful for the brand in India and therefore the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is unlikely to possess helped matters.

Upcoming launch : Toyota Fortuner Legender

Toyota is about to usher in the facelifted Fortuner on Epiphany . It looks like the facelifted model are going to be available in two broad trims: standard and therefore the more premium Legender, as seen on the Thai-spec model. before its possible January launch, the Legender has been spotted testing during a TVC shoot.

The Toyota Fortuner Legender will get several styling upgrades for a refreshed look. Its nose is entirely new with a smaller mesh grille, more aggressive bumpers, a bigger air intake, revised fog lamp house , bi-LED projector headlamps, and alittle skid plate. The front profile seems sharper and sportier than the facelifted model.
