Toyota launched the Indonesia-spec facelifted Innova Crysta in October 2020. it’s expected to arrive in India by December first week.
Now, select dealerships as per our sources have commenced unofficial pre-launch bookings of new Toyota for Rs 1 lakh. However, there’s no confirmation so far regarding the commencement of the official pre-launch bookings for the facelifted MPV.
The Indonesia-spec model is probably going to form its way here. It gets gloss-black front grille with chrome surround flanked by LED projector headlamps. Toyota has also revised the front bumper and it now gets vertically stacked turn indicators and circular LED fog lamps.
Other exterior changes include new dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels (17-inch for the Venturer variant) and a thick black strip connecting the LED taillights .
Changes on the within include a replacement 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a redesigned instrument cluster, and an all-black cabin. Unlike the Indonesia-spec facelifted Innova Crysta, the India-spec model is predicted to return with a lighter theme for its cabin.
The facelifted Innova Crysta is probably going to hold forward features like control , keyless entry, and 7 airbags.
The facelifted MPV is probably going to be powered by an equivalent engines because the current model: 2.4-litre diesel (150PS/360Nm) and a couple of .7-litre petrol (166PS/245Nm). Both are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and offer a 6-speed converter unit as an option.
Our dealer sources have revealed that the facelifted Innova Crysta is probably going to draw a premium of Rs 50,000 over the present model that’s priced from Rs 15.66 lakh to Rs 23.63 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). it’ll still rival the likes of the Mahindra Marazzo and Kia Carnival.
