After introducing a edition model of the Swift in October 2020, Maruti has now launched festive editions of the Alto, Celerio and Wagon R. As seen with the Swift’s edition , the special edition models of those three cars also get an adjunct package.
The Alto special edition comes with a touchscreen music system with 6-speakers, dual-tone seat covers, security system with keyless entry, wheel cover, number plate garnish, mud flaps, and designer floor mats. If you’re trying to find the Celerio special edition, it gets a music system with Bluetooth, new seat covers, designer floor mats, body side moulding, door visor, rear cushion , and number plate garnish.
Maruti is offering the special festive edition for Diwali festival of the Wagon R with front and rear bumper protectors, chrome garnish for the front grille, wheel arch cladding, interior styling kit, new seat covers, designer floor mats, side skirting, body side moulding, and door visor. Maruti has priced the accessory kits at Rs 25,490 for the Alto, Rs 25,990 for the Celerio, and Rs 29,990 for the Wagon R. These kits are going to be fitted at the carmaker’s dealerships across the country.
Maruti sells the Alto within the range of Rs 2.94 lakh to Rs 4.36 lakh, Celerio from Rs 4.41 lakh to Rs 5.68 lakh, and Wagon R from Rs 4.45 lakh to Rs 5.94 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). While the Alto rivals the Renault Kwid and Datsun redi-GO, the Celerio and Wagon R go up against the Hyundai Santro, Datsun GO, and Tata Tiago.
