Hyundai Bayon…. Is it crossover of New Hyundai i20?

The Venue may be a popular car, being sold not only in India but also the USA. Hyundai however doesn’t sell the Venue in Europe, and now we all know why. it’ll be introducing a crossover/SUV within the European region which can be called the Bayon. it’ll be their smallest SUV in Europe and can sit underneath the ICE powered Kona. it’ll essentially be to Europe what the Venue is to India.

Hyundai is predicted to launch the tiny SUV within the half of 2021. it’s recently been spied undergoing testing, which has revealed quite some things about the SUV. The headlights look inspired by those of the Kona and therefore the taillights appear as if they’re all LED units.

The Bayon might serve the aim that the Venue serves in India, but essentially it’s supported the new third-gen i20, which was recently launched in India. the inside of the Bayon also looks almost like that of the premium hatchback. Spy shots have also revealed a digital instrument cluster, an outsized floating touchscreen infotainment system, and heated front seats. While cooled seats are a priority for India, heated seats work better in Europe thanks to the colder climate.

WIth its crossover-ish appeal, it’ll be a spiritual successor to the Active i20. it’ll however not be coming to India, since the Venue is already sold here. The Venue, which is priced between Rs 6.75 lakh to Rs 11.75 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi) has more traditional SUV like rivals within the market within the sort of the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport, the recently launched Kia Sonet and more.
