BMW is predicted to discontinue the three Series GT in India soon. But before that, the carmaker has launched a replacement Shadow Edition of the three Series GT supported the 330i M Sport variant that’s priced at Rs 42.50 lakh. Although the precise number is unknown, BMW has stated that the Shadow Edition variant is out there in limited units. Customers can select, customise, and book the three Series GT Shadow Edition via BMW’s recently launched online sales platform.
The 3 Series GT Shadow Edition is obtainable with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that puts out 252PS and 350Nm. This engine comes mated to an 8-speed Steptronic Sport AT gearbox. BMW offers the three Series GT Shadow Edition with four driving modes: Comfort, Ecopro, Sport and Sport+. It can do the 0-100kmph sprint in 6.1 seconds and reach at its electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. the three Series GT Shadow Edition features a claimed fuel efficiency of 13.95kmpl.
It is available in four shades: Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Melbourne Red, and Estoril Blue. To differentiate from the quality 3 Series GT, the Shadow Edition gets blacked-out elements within the front grille, ORVMs (outside rearview mirror), dual exhaust tips, 18-inch alloy wheels, and headlamps and taillights . Inside, it features aluminium door sill plates, an M sports leather wheel , key with M logo, a panoramic glass roof, and ambient lighting. BMW also offers the Shadow Edition with an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with only Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 9-speaker audio system , and dual-zone climate control. Safety features on offer include six airbags, cornering brake control, and dynamic stability control.
