Superfast Charging Station by MG Motor-Tata Power

MG Motor India has launched Agra’s first-ever 60 kW Superfast EV charging station in association with Tata Power. The said public charging station was inaugurated at MG’s Agra Showroom as a neighborhood of the #NHforEV2020 tech trial that was flagged faraway from Delhi. the corporate stated during a press statement that this public charger are going to be available 24×7 for patrons and has CCS/CHAdeMO fast-charging standards.

Announcement of BMW X5 variant in India

The highlight of the X5 M Competition is its 4.4-litre twin-turbo petrol V8 engine that churns out 625PS and a huge 750Nm of torque! It comes including an 8-speed M-Steptronic automatic drive and drives the four wheels.

The X5 M Competition can complete the 0-100kmph run in only 3.8 seconds with its top speed electronically limited to 250kmph. BMW offers the performance-oriented SUV with three modes: Road, Sport and Track.

Upcoming Launch : Volvo S60 Sedan

Volvo will offer the India-spec S60 during a petrol-only version. it’ll accompany the XC40’s 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine rated at 190PS and 300Nm. it’ll come paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox which will drive the front wheels.

The third-gen S60 sedan is predicted to be priced at Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom). Volvo has stated that bookings will commence in January and deliveries from March 2021.

Mahindra Thar : Now waiting till May 2021

The second-gen Mahindra Thar has been witnessing an enormous demand as evident by the 20,000 bookings it received in October 2020. The carmaker recently temporarily halted bookings for the cheaper AX Std and AX variants given their lower demand than the AX (O) and LX variants. Now, Pawan Goenka, director at Mahindra, has revealed that the new Thar is already sold out until May 2021.

Global NCAP Crash Tests Reports

The Global NCAP has been testing Indian cars for a short time now under its #SafeCarsForIndia campaign. While there are disappointing leads to the past, cars sold in India have upped their safety game in recent years. The Tata Altroz, as an example , got a 5-star rating earlier this year.
